It comes from her heart, and that’s where it counts. "She has a wonderful relationship with an audience...Yes, she has a voice that will remind you of Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, and Mellissa Etheridge, but she’s made it her own voice. It comes from her heart, and that’s where it counts. Tammy was born and raised in Kentucky, and began playing music when she was nine and played her first club gig at the age of thirteen. Relocating to Florida sixteen years ago, she soon hooked up with blues legend James Peterson, touring with his band, singing and playing bass for several years before breaking out on her own in 2001. Tammy has been playing the blues for the last several years with well known artists and bands such as James Peterson, Lucky Peterson, Blind Willie James, Diamond Teeth Mary, and Florida’s 'Women’s Blues Revue'..." Tammy not only plays guitar, but also plays bass, keyboards, drums, and trumpet.
